Labs
The Department of Mechanical Engineering is equipped with a comprehensive suite of laboratories designed to provide students with practical exposure across core mechanical domains. These include the Thermal Engineering Lab, Fluid Machinery Lab, Material Science and Metallurgy Lab, Heat Transfer Lab, Automobile Engineering Lab, Theory of Machines Lab, Manufacturing Processes Lab, Design and Industrial Automation Lab, and Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Lab. Each lab houses state-of-the-art equipment such as diesel and petrol engine test rigs, turbines, pumps, heat exchangers, braking and steering systems, universal governors, machine tools, CNC trainers, and HVAC systems. These facilities support hands-on learning in thermal systems, fluid dynamics, machine design, manufacturing, automation, and energy systems.
